M0RPH I believe what you say is correct for some reason my TV's do not see my MP4's. When you say "Go to Options > Output files, change the MP4 file extension setting to always use MP4" do mean on my computer, Handbrake or TV.

AkumaX there are some MP4 that I have gotten from youtube and elsewhere that do play on my TV's. Just not the one's I move from my DVD to hard drive's as MP4s. I am seriosly just think of buying something like iDVD Ripper and do everything in an AVI

Maybe I found something. I am putting my DVD's on a hard drive. I am using Hadbrake Container MP4 File BUT when I check the Hard Drive is says Type of File M4v. Shouldn't the file on the Hard Drive say MP4? Thanks
