Any day now, there will be a TV show that you can call in..

Didn't Intel do something like this once. You got to vote online how the ending of the show turned out... or was it a commercial. I don't remember which, but I do remember Intel asking people to vote online. Nick

Trivia: How long will it take to dl 1 TB file on a 56K connection?

Um.. I think some of your calculations are a little off. Since computers use binary, it wouldn't be efficient to store data in base 10 chuncks. You'll have a lot of wasted space. 1 kByte isn't 1000 Bytes. It's 1024 Bytes (2^10 bytes) so: 1kByte is 1024 Bytes or 2^10 1MByte is 1024 kBytes...

    Best Audio Editing Tool ?

I'm not sure what you're using it for, but Acid is pretty cool. Go to www.acidplanet.com It's really more for overlaying multiple tracks, but I think you can edit too. Nick

Is anyone else having a problem connecting to ICQ?

I've been having that problem too, but I'm at work. Im guessing it could be that we're beefing up our firewall because of that red virus. I don't know though. I don't really know much about firewalls, or viruses.... virui... virussess... what's the plural on that... 8-) Nick
