I've read quite a few pages of posts and noticed the same few Nvidia "holdouts", can't use the term "fanboy", actually defending Nvidia's actions. I hope you're getting kick backs from Nvidia because blindly defending a tech company for no money is just utterly stupid.

Multiple Athlons Prior to chip below AMD 4850? Such a long time ago don't remember AMD APU's don't remember exactly which ones I was teaching my son to build FX 8350 Ryzen 2600x current build, contemplating dropping in a new chip that fits that chipset.

This is his first build and he's trying to future proof it so that's why is going overboard on a few item. I talked him out of the overkill MB and he's now going to wait for the new chips/cards to drop. I'll point him to this thread so he can get some good insight and make a wiser decision...

My cousin is building a new system for his son around a 3600 XT chip and from what I've been following RAM makes a significant difference in performance. What is the best RAM for that chip? MB: x570, he's going top notch on this $350ish Card: RTX 2060 RAM: 16 to 32 gigs of RAM PS: 750 gold...

This would be a great upgrade from my 2600x, crossing fingers.

I built a system around the 8350 and loved it! Ran that chip for 5 years and couldn't complain about it at all, granted I just did light gaming and some web/sql development but never had issues with speed.

I remember this one , we tried it with a friends Duron but can't remember is it worked or not.

This is a card I'm definitely interested in I feel it should be a good enough upgrade from my 570 and If I can get one for 260ish then its a done deal. I'm not to worried about the 6g it should be fine for the near future.
