i have a week 01/08 that runs fine a 1431 but only with max volts1.89

my brother is building a new system for a freind the strange thing he`s not interested in over clocking ...go figure so the question is which is the most stable mb with or without oc`ing features (1ghz tbird) abit gets my vote

yep just down loaded it and it shows 200fsb my abit kt7a setting`s are multiplier of 12 and 100/33 fsb there is another setting 133/33 tryed that yesterday and trashed a board the guy at the comp store gave me a new one, all the time giving me the eye, im afraid to try it again my chip id is...

shouldnt there be somthing in system info or wcpuid or sandra that will indacate that i have a 1.2 266 im finding the 1.2 part but not the 266 stuff is there any way to attach a pic to my post?

the reason i ask is.. i was looking for a 1.2 200 and the guy told me at the computer store that this chip would work fine with this mb, after installing it thing`s were going fine, and all of a suden it started locking up mult 12.5 and fsb 105 put every thing back and it runs fine (12x100) ive...

is it ok to run this chip on a abit kt7 raid

yes i recieved the hsf and other than you have to take the mother board out to install the beast (its big) im extreamly happy with there product 37C full load and with the rheostat i can dial the fan down and the temp only rises to 41C and its fairly quiet

could someone please post a link to the site that gives the information on identifying amd cpu`s i had it book marked once but wasnt able to recover it after a system crash (a little to much FSB)hehe :D
