Thanks. I would agree with you. The only thing confusing me is that earlier I had asked GB support what that system reading is and they said the sensor is very close to NB and it can be considered NB temp. As long as you can trust their support. :) Besides, the sensor might be close but not...
Now I officially don't understand anything... :(
Today I got a 40mm fan and with two screws attached it on top of the heatsink. I even made plastic spacers of 8mm to have some distance between the fan and the HS (thought it would help). The fan is blowing towards the heatsink.
The temperature...
Yeah, I got that. :)
But the readings I have now with Everest seem correct with the difference that Everest call the two readings CPU and Motherboard and the BIOS calls them CPU and System. But the numbers are the same.
Yes.
At first I tried Speedfan for temp reading and that showed me some other third reading at 90-95degC which freaked me out.
So I had an email exchange with Gigabyte support who said they have only two sensors (so that third one in Speedfan is who knows what) and one is placed at the CPU the...
Hi all.
Please help me with a dilemma about my NB temp. I have a Gigabyte MA78G-DS3H motherboard with a built in HD3200 in the NB that I use (onboard graphics).
After assembling the PC months ago I was looking for programs so I could check my temp once in a while and because I was getting...
Hi all.
I have assembled my PC with MB Gigabyte MA78G-DS3H approx 6 months ago. I installed only one system fan (back of case) plugged in SYS FAN1 on the MB. As far as I understood FAN1 connector offers RPM adjustment for the fan not to run on max RPM if not needed, while FAN2 connector...
OK, I solved it. In fact, as I hoped, I had no problem at all. :)
Although both Speedfan 4.35 and HWMonitor 1.10 show some strange 90 degrees temp reading it seems this is just mismatch between the programs and the sensor chip.
At first I was worried that my NB, AMD 780G, is really...
Thank you for all your help. Now I am very angry with myself that I didn't do more detailed research of the board etc. The last time I was assembling a PC heat and cooling were not big issues. :)
Lookng at the mobo pic now (quicker than opening the case), I can clearly see the 2...
Thank you. I downloaded CoreTemp and will install it.
By system temp I was just using the same terminology as the BIOS info, it shows CPU and system temp. My logic is that it's probably a sensor measuring air temp inside the case, that's how I understand it anyway.
My main concern was...
Thanks.
Their website says it's for Intel CPU, I have AMD. Should I use it anyway?
And I was looking more for a program that will show my system temp too. This looks like CPU only. But I will give it a shot if it can work with AMD.
Hi all.
I have recently assembled my home PC (after owning a laptop for few years so I am a bit out of touch) with a Gigabyte MA78G-DS3H motherboard. My question is for the temp sensors information but in case it matters, the CPU is Athlon x2 4850e, the memory matched pair of Corsair 2x1GB...
