No they are 306f1. They are 14 core cpu's with 6 cores disabled. HWinfo64 shows them to HCC cpu's with 8 cores LOL. They also have 35 mb of L3 cache.
With the id 306f1 of these...
I received my motherboard, ram and cpu's. I ended up going with a pair of E5-2667 V3 ES cpu's. I have installed Windows 10 and last night I finally was able to install Ubuntu 16.04 with the motherboard in UEFI bios only.........that was a major pain in the rear.
Now I'm just learning what to...
I received my ram Friday, the motherboard is supposed to be here Monday. I ordered two E5-2667 V3 ES cpu's and they are also supposed to be here Monday. I started to have second thoughts on doing this mod on a new dual cpu motherboard so I went with the E5-2667 V3 instead of the E5-2683 V3.
I also registered because of this topic. Going to give this a go with the dual Xeon motherboard that I ordered. Should be fun. I still need to order the Cpu's and ram tomorrow. I have everything else already. This is an upgrade from my dual E5 2670 build.Yes it does have the AMI Aptio UEFI bios tho.
