Ok got it... I see in windows ME there is a "default" association and sometimes it reverts back to that apperantly when I reboot. So I just made my photo software the default association.

Make sure the monitor supports the resolution and refresh rate that your vid card is set for. I had a cheap ass monitor once that didnt support over 60MHz refresh rate.

On a side note I have an old Biostar that runs 24/7 for connections sharing (and of course RC5) Its running a PI 233 @ 290 and I never have problems with it.

Everyonce in a while my my .jpg files get associated with winzip rather then vueprint. If I reboot it gets re-associated with winzip. Any suggestions would be great!
Look up your motherboard in the support pages on you motherboard manufature's home page. Look at the BIOS updates (if there are any) if you are not have any of the problems listed in the release notes its is recommended not to reflash if you dont need it. I caught a bad link once and ended up...
You should have no problems, in fact I think you can use ata 66 cables for ata 100 peripherals. They are backwards, forward, upsidedown, rightside up compatible.
The only issue with Win2k I can think of is some AGP problems but AMD has released a fix for this Here.
As for 3D Studio the Athlon family excels in 3D type apps.
I think AMD should make a few more TV commercials (spelling?) I've only ever seen one, when the Athlon was first introduced. If my grandma goes to Best Buy to get a computer to surf the internet she sees on the the shelf Intel Pentium III and thinks oh that's that commercial with those cute blue...
