Ok got it... I see in windows ME there is a "default" association and sometimes it reverts back to that apperantly when I reboot. So I just made my photo software the default association. Thanks for all the help.

Make sure the monitor supports the resolution and refresh rate that your vid card is set for. I had a cheap ass monitor once that didnt support over 60MHz refresh rate. spelling

I vote MSI. On a side note I have an old Biostar that runs 24/7 for connections sharing (and of course RC5) Its running a PI 233 @ 290 and I never have problems with it.

There are options to make some associations to winzip but .jpg is not listed.

Everyonce in a while my my .jpg files get associated with winzip rather then vueprint. If I reboot it gets re-associated with winzip. Any suggestions would be great!

You should have no problems, in fact I think you can use ata 66 cables for ata 100 peripherals. They are backwards, forward, upsidedown, rightside up compatible.

The only issue with Win2k I can think of is some AGP problems but AMD has released a fix for this Here. As for 3D Studio the Athlon family excels in 3D type apps.

Usually there is a utility on the floppy that comes with the new drive to clone your original drive. I know maxtor drives come with one.
