I think I'm pretty lucky. Got my Tbird700@900 and my Inno3D GeForce2MX @ 210core 210mem. Works great. But I still only get 5100 3DMarks. Why is that? I think I should be getting better results.
I read on the AMD website that the new socketA Tbirds and Durons can withstand a max of 90c. I don't know if this is true or not. 90c seems EXTREMELY hot though. In my opinion I'd say keep it under 60c and ur fine.
Yay! I'm also new to OC'ing. I overclocked my first Tbird700 to 900 at default voltage. The CPU temp only went up 3-4c! I must say that doesn't seem bad for 200mhz. At full load it runs at 41-42c. I'm thinking on shooting for 1gig soon...

You have sucessfully converted yet another person. Right now I am running a measly K62 400. But in the next couple of days I will add a Tbird 700@850 to churn out those rc5 units! I want to see TA in first place.:)
