I have an old pent2 400mhz laptop.. with a 8mb ATI mobile vid card... Is it possible for OpenGL or DirectX's newest versions to hurt anything? Or can they only help?

I have the laptop on at the same time? When I charge it with the laptop off, it seems to be working fine... But when I turn the laptop on with the AC adapter in, I can wait 30 min. and the charge wont even go up 1%... I leave my PC idle during this test btw... I know its supposed to be slower...

Try to autoboot a Win2000 or Win98 installation CD while you still have WinXP installed... Im trying to figure out if its possible...

lol, I already did that... Im thinking the problem is XP will not allow the CD to autoboot.. Im thinking, if I do it on a formatted harddrive, it would work.. Thats really my question.
