I have not had this exact problem but I have had so many issues with firefox I decided to just get rid of it.It supposed to be better for some plugins and gaming.But in my experience its benefits are far over shadowed by its many flaws. I am very happily running chrome now

Cool. fyi to anyone else entering if you don't unclick the box allowing them to send you e-mails they will e-mail you a lot. I've entered a few sweepstakes from ford and they end up sending me lots of email.
