Sounds like a power issue to me. I had the same thing happen, but I had alot more devices, but it was still too much for my little 350watt, so I switched to a 460 and no more problems.

I'll have to play around with mine. It looks bad enough that shortcuts arn't readable, and not that I want to work on it, but being able to browse to a file and know what it says would be nice. The tv is new...27in. But i'll try some of the things you mentioned and see if I can get it looking...

Lemme ask you, with your scan line converter how does text look on the tv? I bought one about a year ago. Different brand then the one you mentioned, mines from avermedia. But the quality is horrible when in windows. I try to browse folders, etc and the text is so fuzzy I can't read a thing. And...

I always have used Maxtor drives, they have been real reliable for me. But now I have a choice between an IBM Deskstar 45gb or a Maxtor 45gb, both 7200. Any opinions on which is the better deal? It's free, so price isn't a concern, but I can only grab one of em. Thanks.

I managed to flash the board to 2.0, Then I decided to jump up to 2.2. I'm still plauged by instability problems. When I tried to flash it to 2.2 it just sists there....I gave it a while before pulling the plug, and tried to downrev to 1.9 (heard some people had problms flashing from 2 to 2.2)...

I've got 3x40gb and a 30gb 7200rpm. Umm...thats one machine. ;) The 3 40s are in a nice IDE raid.
