You can try to unplug / re-plug this connector on the board. I have the same the configuration, and this make the audio work for me.

Did you connect the 10-pin connector coming out from the Sonata front panel (speaker/microphone) to the front panel audio connector of the board (JAUD1) ? If not, MSI documentation say : If you don?t want to connect to the front audio header, pins 5 & 6, 9 & 10 have to be jumpered in order...
