Also wanted to add that I couldn't find overscan settings on any of the devices. Does anyone know if they are available on the cable box? I have called a local Onkyo service center and they are going to try and reproduce the problem when I bring it in.

The cable box is an Scientific Atlanta 1080i which is connected through component cables to the receiver. The receiver is connnected through component to a Panasonic CT-34wx54 (34" widescreen CRT). I have looked through all the settings on every device and nothing jumps out at me.

New to the forum and new owner of a Onkyo TX-SR606. It works great soundwise. The exception is the component output to my HDTV CRT. There are narrow dim vertical lines on the screen that are more visible with bright colors. They are completely stationary and show up on ever high definition...
