I just wanted to know if anyone knows the proper procedure in removing heat sinks from the NB and SB of a ASUS MAXIMUS FORMULA. I haven't received the motherboard yet, so it hasn't been ran on. I want to apply arctic silver on them instead. Is this a bad idea?
I'm using PC Probe II and for the first time in two weeks of owning this MB....it shoots a warning on me on PC Probe II a flag that my NB temp is high and is at 45 degrees C. I'm a big noob.... is this a high temp? I'm not even gaming... just surfing the net.

I just used Catalyst Control's Auto Tune and it set my GPU settings to:
GPU Clock to 758MHz
and
Memory Clock to 1103 MHz
Is Auto Tune accurate? GOod to use?

I have the voltages set on auto. I figured it was ok to do so. I believe the timings for my ram are at 5 -5 -5 15, but they are rated at 4 -4 -4 -12 at 2.2v. I'm going for a x9 multiplier and a 400 FSB which would bring it to 3.6 Ghz...
