I just wanted to know if anyone knows the proper procedure in removing heat sinks from the NB and SB of a ASUS MAXIMUS FORMULA. I haven't received the motherboard yet, so it hasn't been ran on. I want to apply arctic silver on them instead. Is this a bad idea?

I'm using PC Probe II and for the first time in two weeks of owning this MB....it shoots a warning on me on PC Probe II a flag that my NB temp is high and is at 45 degrees C. I'm a big noob.... is this a high temp? I'm not even gaming... just surfing the net. If it helps.. .I'm running 3...

I just used Catalyst Control's Auto Tune and it set my GPU settings to: GPU Clock to 758MHz and Memory Clock to 1103 MHz Is Auto Tune accurate? GOod to use? I have a Q6600 with 4 GHz RAM on a ASUS Maximus Formula mobo if that helps Running 32-bit vista. Thanks guys
