i remember seeing a guy who had submerged the various components of his PC in an old enamel sink, stuck in the coil off of the back of his fridge and covered the whole lot in a fine grade mineral oil, it was pretty silent if i remember. (if a little bulky)

got a vcd, and the wmp won't read it. The system warning about having no filters to read streams comes up, previous vcd worked fine, but don't know what to try to sort problem. anybody any ideas??

got a asus geforce2 pro 64mb, and can't get the memory above 401mhz in the asus tweak utility, any ideas?? downloaded asus's latest drivers but it seems to do no good, and although the memory won't overclock the core happily sits at 220mhz.

i have a p3 733 (@825mhz), pc133 ram, a soyo mobo, and a asus geforce 2pro. When i try to use the asus tweak it never seems to lock the 'new' memory frequency and it always defaults to 400mhz. As well, i replaced my mx with the pro and since then i seem to suffer screen lockups when running...

why not overclock the celeron and get a p3

i'm trying to decide if i should upgrade my overclocked cretive labs geforce 2mx for a asus geforce2 64mb pro, i'm getting the pro for about for a fair price, but should i consider another graphics card/card manufacturer as i don't want to limit my choices, as the overclock potential of the card...

stock t-birds are getting to hot just now, so to quickly increase the core speed would generate greater heat inefficiently when compared to the actual speed increase, which means greater cooling which is a trade off that few companies that sell 'off the shelf' pcs(you know the ones) are prepared...
