These problems occur even on a fresh installation of the operating system, and even happen in BIOS and in a boot into DOS, without using Windows, so I think it is going to be fairly hard to resolve.
The XP-120 WAS on the list.... Not any more though. But it did stay there long enough for me to buy it. Doh!
I have been able to fit the XP-120 by mounting it vertically with the heat pipe directed towards the bottom of my case. To do so, I had to mount the heatsink, then install the memory...
I purchased a Neo2 and Athlon 64 3500 recently, and am having issues with the video.
The system seems to display strange extra characters randomly in BIOS and DOS with any video card I have, and with a new 6800GT all sorts of video mayhem breaks out.
I have tried it with 2 different video...
Thermalrights website DID list this as compatible. Now it seems they have removed it. I have this motherboard and the XP-120.
I can fit the heatsink on the motherboard by installing the heatsink first, then sliding the memory in afterwards. Note that the heat pipes will have to face downwards...
