Same thing at the one I go to. VS.Net, Office, Windows XP, etc - all around 5 bucks each.
Univ of Washington also has MSDN Academic Alliance - you can download a lot of MS titles free if you are taking CSE courses.
Was in Fry's yesterday, heard someone saying something to a sales clerk about honoring advertisement. Wondered at the time what it was about, guess I know now. Sounded like the salesman pretty much told him to piss off.

Went to CC today, they were out of them, and all nearby stores were too. Oh well, I didn't really want one, to tell the truth.
Continued some Christmas shopping, heading out to Fry's. Noticed they had the 40hr 3yr one for $499 so I thought "what the hell" and aproached some guy...
I would think the mid tower if for no other reason than a greater volume of air and more space for fans. I don't know if that would translate to any realistic difference though... I doubt it would.
anyone heard of this case? doesnt seem to be a computer case but some net appliance maybe?
$4.99 here, wondering if this one would be good for a tv-out box, but need some specs to see if an atx mobo would fit...
