    I've been watching some SC2 tournament streams and it's a little apparent when the pair is mismatched. Some are much faster to respond and are able to notice smaller details.

    Have you given the astro a40's a go? They're a bit older now with the a50's out, but I find they're a good mixed headphone between gaming and music, though I prefer IEM's for music.
