    New B3 mobo...

My Asrock Extreme6 has a B3 sticker on the motherboard, shows B3 during boot (although, presumably, if someone were to flash with the latest bios, it too would B3 during boot) and printed on the retail box. Nothing interesting here either, didn't even trigger Win7 activation. Other than...

Trying To Restore an Imaged Drive with Acronis

Are you trying to restore in Windows or through an Acronis Bootable Rescue Media? From experience, I've found it works better restoring from the bootable rescue media. You don't mention what happens during your attempts to restore the image.

Ah, thanks Auric. I went ahead and re-ran the update, after cycling the power, it completed the updates to all the drives without issues.

    Samsung HD204UI & firmware

It's not really as difficult as some would make it to be. I have eight of these running in a server, many with different build dates and had no problem updating the firmware on each. No more than 15 minutes total for all eight. I ran the update twice, once to do the actual update and the second...

P67 mobo - ASRock or Gigabyte?

That's probably what they did with the Extreme6 too. It showed up for sale on Newegg 2 or 3 days before I received an email. I bought my Extreme6 at $195 w/free shipping. I believe it's currently listed at $220 w/$10 shipping. Ouch...quite an increase.

P67 mobo - ASRock or Gigabyte?

Actually, if you buy a Sandy Bridge based Asrock board now the warranty is 2-3 years (depending on model). They extended the warranty an extra year if you buy one before June 30, 2011.

"Doesn't have a Valid IP Configuration" - Help

Most home wireless routers are usually at 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. You could try one of these for your default gateway when you're following the link that JackMDS posted. Resetting your router to factory defaults as Generator posted might help. It would probably also help if you post the...

"Doesn't have a Valid IP Configuration" - Help

Dunno but it sounds like a problem with your router or the router's dhcp is not assigning your computers an ip address. Have you tried assigning static ip addresses within the same subnet as your router? Try doing that to see you if you can connect to the internet. If so, then your router isn't...

P67 mobo - ASRock or Gigabyte?

I don't know anything about the Gigabyte mobo but I will say that the Asrock P67 Extreme6 I have paired with the 2600K has been an outstanding performer. Booted up the first time and has problem-free since. Having 10 SATA ports helped in not having to use the SATA II ports while waiting for the...

Newegg called ME about my advanced RMA on my P67 board

Got an email last Friday from Newegg regarding my Asrock Extreme6, responded that night and received a call from them on Monday for the advance rma. Should be receiving my replacement by Friday. Woohoo! Linflas, I had the same question about the return label too so I called. The guy I spoke...
