Well, nothing seemed to get those USB ports working. I cleaned off the HDD and started from a fresh OS. Everything works now. USB ports worked the first time. When I did a Format of the C drive though it did find some bad sectors or something. Plus the system had been acting a little weird...

Damn, no other takers on this? This should be a fairly popular config. Are the Asus/Intel Drivers too old? I will try to find the newest ones I can. Would WIN98 vs WIN98SE make a diff? Thanks :(

Yeah, I installed the intel drivers from the CD that came with the MoBo. I think those are the first two listed in the USB controller under device manager (Intel(R) 82801BA/BAM ........) Again it's the last two (USB Root Hub) that have the yellow exclamation point by them.:confused:
