How about one of those pci testing cards? Friend at pc repair shop says he will test my system with it. One of those error code cards. Can they determine a bad cpu?

Kinda redundant but I now have 2 amd cpus and am wondering how to test them. If I get a new motherboard and one or both cpu's are bad I'm putting the MB in danger right? Is there no way to safely test a cpu?

Well, without being able to boot, not much use even if there is a bios update. Can't flash it if the board won't post. Also have 2 cpu's, one 1.4 amd and amd 2400 so one should boot in the pcchips. Any way to flash without boot?
