I'm not sure you're going to see much of any differrence compared to what you're running now, if that's the system you are upgrading. Unles you've really got money to burn I can't imagine upgrading to sandy bridge, or even Ivy bridge most likely... I don't know what real world performance gains...
Thanks for the input, I suppose I was just suprised. I'm thinking it may be that there are more novices in the hobby these days? That would explain some of it. I imagine many boards that are thought to be DOA are not actually DOA, they're being shorted out by a bad mounting job etc. etc. etc...
And as I think of it more.... We see a lot of reviews of new hardware and that's great. But many of the boards I'm sure I sent by the manufacturer, maybe hand picked. It would be nice to see reviews that are done with boards bought from retail. Even if that's not feasible it would be nice to see...
I've had an Asrock board in the past and it did work well for me. I suppose that any of these current gen boards are a bit of a gamble but I think I'll go with one of the Asrock boards. The price premium of the Asus boards just doesn't seem to be worth it considering that (from what I can take...

I'd say there's a fair chance the system is not working correctly. But regardless, I did get 1 of each key. I am having a hard time getting the ISO downloaded however. It seems stop at various places as if it has completed. I'm trying it with flashget now.
Just finished a build with this. Great case. I have my old system in a p180 (original version) and the cable management options in the 182 are really nice.
looks like this is dead... I waited too long to buy. Anyone have a line on a good vista deal? I need it for a second PC. What happened to the pricedrop?
