As an avid tropical fish hobbist and fish store employee I suggest putting formaldehyde in your water systems to pwn anything living in the water (Algae spores, Bacteria, etc...)

CD-RW Drive... NEC NR-7900A
DVD-RW Drive...TDK 840G
Both of these do everything else perfect but read game cd's that are in their drives when the game checks to see if the cd is in the drive.

My cd rom will install and play off any cd thats put into it and I can also properly view what is in the drive.
When a program tries to detect the drive (such as a game that requires the cd to be in the drive, or also my cd-copier software) It does not detect the drive.
In device manager it...
Old system: dell 4100 series... no mods
os: win xp home
no problems whatsoever... well it was slow, thats why I upgraded =]
New system:
mobo: gigabyte ga-7n400 pro2
cd drive: tdk dvdrw840g
os: win xp pro
cpu: amd athalon xp 2800+

In device manager it finds my CD drive but it says this ...
Location 0: Location 0 (Secondary ATA Channel)
^ That ok? That where it shoudl be?
