The 50xx models are already out. Comes with a few new nifty features... I have to say that the ReplayTV devices are awesome. Much better than DirecTivo or anything like that. With the ethernet connection, you can send shows to other people, and even stream video to and from your computer...

Are you using Alkaline batteries? Those never last at all... I use NiMH batteries, and I get about 100 shots on a full charge w/ about 50% flash and LCD use... pretty decent, IMHO.

Can these be used for anything other than reading ebooks? How about any of the competing units? $200 is expensive, but if they were ~$50 or so, I would pick one up....

What use is .net if you're starting out? Wouldn't it be easier to use the standard VB/VC++ etc editions?
