That appears to have been the problem in my case. Remounting the heatsink seemed to get things working. Thanks for the help!

Hi all. I just bought a Asus p5p800 and ran into a slight problem. It seems the board likes to shut off the power supply after a few seconds. I've tried two different power supplies (one is a 500W Antec SmartPower 2.0. I'm using a P5 3.2 Ghz processor and 1 gig of memory (in one chip/board)...
