I have the ripjaws. A hyper 212 Plus will work just fine. Just slide the fan up about 1/16" or so

It was on Sata2 port 3. I changed it and the ssd to Sata3 after the intel issue. HDD is now on Sata3 port 1 test results above from both ports SSD port 0

Did you format the drive. You can't just plug it in, windows won't recognize it. Same thing happened to me. Once formated it appeared under computer.

When it asked me for the new location i just selected f: Should i have typed in F :users\jim\my documents ? Since users\jim\my documents did not exist on the F : would windows create that on the F: drive?
