Last update: It's the motherboard. Replacing it with a ASUS A7N8X deluxe fixes the problem.

I have a barton 2500 with 512M DDR. I was using a winfast K7Ncr18d nforce2 but recently the mb causes lots of problems. Can anyone suggest a replacement motherboard around $100-$150 with similar functions? I haven't been in touch with the technology so any help will be appreciated. Thank you
