    If you've got 98se already installed, just boot to 98se and run the win2k setup program...tell it to install a fresh copy, point it to /winnt, and do not convert the disk to ntfs. that will ruin your day.

    How to load windows 98 on new computer?

    Here's a quick way to install it. create /win95 and /win98 folders. from the 95 cd, copy all the cab files to the /win95 directory, then do the same with the 98 cd and the /win98 folder. then just run setup from the /win98 folder.
