I haven't gotten mine yet; it was apparently sent early February but lost in the mail. They are cancelling the earlier check and resending it though, so I am still waiting on this. The rebate itself was definitely approved though.

It looks to me like this rebate can be used on any drive with the same product number (ST3160023A-RK). Don't see any specification on the form that it has to be purchased from any specific retailer. So is it possible that I could buy from somewhere (such as Newegg) that doesn't charge tax in my...
