Why "bump" if you know what you do?

Yes, M2N-E is a good mobo with new BIOS except VDimm, I like it too. It could OC to 50%, I think it is enough for running everyday. For racing please choose another expensive mobo. The performance of M2N-E is compatible with 100 bucks, I think.

BIOS 0501 is only a "0402 official", nothing new

I think VDIMM limit because of hardware not in BIOS.

Well, I think if budget is limit, take Sempron 2800+, with a good mobo, it can OC to 2.7Gz or 3G with a good thermal solution. If money is a small problem, take X2 3600+ best price/performace, it is only behind X2 3800+ form 2-5%. If you have more 200 bucks, take Core 2 Duo like 6300, it can OC...
