True with the G2 coming out soon unless your picking up one second hand now I wouldn't get the slide. At the time in June when I got it it was the best android for T-Mobile on the market that you could get on a family plan
Have had one since June 21st because of the lower resolution screen over the high end phones (N1, DroidX, EVO) the slide feels pretty snappy on everything it does now we just need the 2.2 upgrade to happen for the SD card support
RCA puts out a HTIB that has 3 hdmi in and 1 out and it pretty slim I have picked up one and it's not half bad for the price. Got it at walmart for $158
If you get a subsidized phone they will tag you with a data plan no matter what. That is written into the contract when you pay the discounted price.
Now if you go buy one without going through AT&T or paying the full AT&T price they can care less if you have the data plan.
Let me guess you...
Your talking about an exclusive employee discount which it only available to you compared to bing which is open to everyone.
If you do the math the difference between the 2 year contract price and plan vs the full price (w/bing) and the even more plus pricing it take less then 6 months to make...
Not entirely true on the price if you buy the HD2 outright (With current bing special final price comes to $292) you can go to a $59 500min unlimited data and text plan
If you want to stick to T-Mo the cheapest plan they have for a smartphone level phone plan is $59 a month that is 500 mins/ unlimited text and data. Like other have said you can pick up a used phone from either craigslist or ebay.
If you don't want your phone for data then they have a 500...
That is somewhat true if you are using a custom ROM for the HD2 make sure you get the T-Mobile Compatible on. If you get one designed for the European version of the phone you will brick it and as of right now there is no guarantee way to unbrick it. As long as you know you have a T-Mobile...
Yeah I had been trying to get another smart phone for a EM+ family plan that I was to start up but since I wanted to keep my budget below 500 for 2 phones that nixed the nexus one. But after seeing this i couldn't resist pulling the trigger on that deal sub $300 for that phone is insane and...
Just a heads up if you order your HD2 through T-Mobile online make sure to go through bing. They are offering 35% off the phone right now which brings it down to $300
treating my G/F to a nice resort weekend so you talking just 500-600 in the spa fees and dinners and maybe a show. I don't need a case but that is a hell of a deal for a very nice computer case which is why i am still thinking about it right now
