I've got a ASUS P4T533-C i850E mobo, 2.26Ghz P4. Apparently everything was working last night. Today nothing. Went to check my email and had a blank monitor. At first I thought my monitor was dead, but the the status light on the bezel was showing an amber 'no signal' color. I then tried...
PC 2700 should be the better way to go. I think Tom's hardware guide did some benchmarking on DDR with CAS 2/CL2 versus CAS 2.5 and CAS 3.Tom's Hardware
Anyway PC 2700 should get you closer to the FSB bandwidth that the P4 uses.

Anyone have any suggestions on a good IDE raid card? I havent been able to find any benchmarks on performance etc., but then again maybe I didnt look hard enough :)
No all 4 do not need to be filled with ram. If this is the same mobo I just ordered, there are 2 rimm slots running horiz. and 2 vertically. You need to fill one slot in the vertical and one in the horizontal. The other two slots need to be filled with CRIMM's which should have been in the...
I was over at the VR-zone reading their review of overclocked DDR333 and I had some questions. The following excerpt is from their description of the testing setup. Could someone take the time to explain what all these are/do in regard to the memory module. Also, if you would explain how...
<< If its 2D and you don't need good OpenGL support, I woudl go with a Matrox G550 Dual-Head, and get two monitors.
But I've never used Landdesktop... so I'm not sure. Maybe if you provide a link the the program webpage we could tell ya more by looking at program specs... >>

Personal choice would be option 3. My older pentium board doesnt support more then 1x AGP. Even in light gaming you will probably want something with a little more power then that. Of course that would depend on the type of gaming you are planning on.

The sad thing is that only 2 other people get this joke. You have to be a physics major to even get the jokes in this forum :) >>
Ahh, it wasnt that hard even for non-physics majors, but after a couple others reply with LOL, why should the rest of us bother?;)
Sorry I didnt tell you how much the DI-701 cost. I think they were running around $50 last time I looked. I dont know that they are making them with the DI-704 cable/dsl routers out now. If you are running both computers in the same room then pick up a cable/dsl router with the built in...
I had a lady at work ask me last week to help her open a file from a friend of hers. Just so happened to be the christmas.exe virus which also did its work on her computer in front of me.... Her excuse for not using virus scan was that her friend would, "NEVER" send her a virus, because she...

<< I've got a very good friend that goes every Sunday. I will get him to do some surveillance for me! >>
Hope he's a REALLY good friend. If she's a Natalie Portman look a like, I'd be hard pressed not to make a move myself;)
<< While on the post, i watched a video of a jet figter flying supersonic with a cone of "fog" traling behind it. Correct me if i akm wring but is that because of the low pressures formed by the sonic boom or something that caused the air to condense? >>
I believe it's due to a number of...
From what I've read DVD+RW is 'supposed' to be backwards compatible with older DVD players. DVD-RW should be compatible with new or newer DVD players but the early data says that there may be some issues for older players...which ones that would be, I wouldnt even begin to know. I believe both...
