Frontlines: Fuel of War worth $8?

I bought it for $25 and it's a turd, I'd stay far away from it, even for $8...

    Which dual monitor setup?

I'd definitely go for Option B, just make sure to buy high quality cables for the KVM, the thicker the better or you may get some ghosting!

Need your opinion, bad graphics card?

I just purchased an Asus laptop on eBay last week and it has a nVidia GTX 260m notebook adapter in it. I have a clean load of Windows 7 on the machine and loaded on the latest WHQL drivers from nVidia. I loaded up the game Risen, and every once in awhile I'm getting black polygons, usually...

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Bus Speed Won't Set

Got it fixed! I had to unplug the power supply from the wall, unplug it from the motherboard, take out the motherboard battery then put it back in and plug everything in and now it will let me set the bus speed! Very strange. Something was definitely out of whack due to the reboot/crash!!

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Bus Speed Won't Set

Hi all, I have been running my GA-P35-DS3L at 450MHz bus for a year and 500MHz for about 3 months since I added on some new RAM. Last night I was playing Lord of the Rings Online with AA enabled and my system rebooted itself (known problem with ATI but I was trying out new drivers)...

Gigabyte P35-DS3L Can't Boot from USB Flash Drive

Ok, I finally got it to boot. I stumbled upon someone on Google who changed the format from Fat32 to Fat on their thumb drive to get it to boot and it worked! When it was Fat32 it booted fine on my Dell laptop, but it had to be just Fat to boot on the DS3L... Everything else about the way I...

Gigabyte P35-DS3L Can't Boot from USB Flash Drive

On the dell laptop, there is an option for boot from USB storage device, and I made that the first boot device. It booted fine, so I know the flash drive is bootable. To make the flash drive bootable, I used DISKPART under Vista using instructions widely available on the web for creating a...

Gigabyte P35-DS3L Can't Boot from USB Flash Drive

Ok, I'm pulling my hair out on this one, so if you have any ideas, please help. I've created a 4GB USB Flash Drive with Vista SP1 on it and it can be booted just fine from my Dell Laptop, but with my Gigabyte, the boot just locks up when it accesses the flash drive. I have USB-HDD set as...

    E6750 & Gigabyte P35C-DS3R Overclocking Thread

I'm suspecting video card drivers. Have you updated to the latest, maybe even some beta ones? Personally I'd move over to a GeForce 8800 series card if I was you, but if you love ATI, then try drivers. Also, have you loaded on the latest Intel P35 chipset drivers? Oh, and have you run...

    E6750 & Gigabyte P35C-DS3R Overclocking Thread

Yeah, 3.2 allows you to keep the memory at a spec 800MHz, so no big deal. Running that 4GB at 900MHz, well that's another thing...

    E6750 & Gigabyte P35C-DS3R Overclocking Thread

tiberius72, Are you overclocking right now? If so, what Mhz are you running the CPU at? Let's say you are at 3.2GHz, then you are at 400Mhz x 8 and your memory multiplier should be set to 2x to get 800MHz. If you are running at 3.6GHz, then you are at 450MHz x 8 and if you memory...

    E6750 & Gigabyte P35C-DS3R Overclocking Thread

Speeder, Here's what I would try. First focus on getting the RAM stable, set to +.4V, 400MHz, 4-4-4-12 and boot memtest and run a few passes, if all is good then keep increasing the speed and you should be able to get up to 450MHz. Then focus on CPU voltages. I thinking going into the...
