There is no way that each cleaning cycle uses up i/3 of each stick of ink. I have yet to replace my color ink and have gone through atleast 5 cleaning cycles and I also have printed color in hi-res mode....This IS a very good deal, especially for college students with roommates on a small p2p...

well xerox just purchased tektronix....

The thing is that this printer sprays wax onto paper therefore no printer ribbons. Color ink runs about 200 dollars for 3 sticks of each color (enough for 6000 prints(?)). Still much cheaper than inkjet and supposedly better.

I know that everyone has been talking about the e-stamp printer deal but what about the free tektronix printer? I've read and reread the site and it seems like a very hot deal. Free printer, free ink and free onsite service...all you have to do is buy a maintenance kit every 8 months or so and...
