I have an HP computer with Windows 8. I want to remove the hard drive, install a new hard drive and install a new copy of Windows 7. What should I look for in the BIOS so that I can install Windows 7 on this new hard drive. Tnanks

Reason being that with Windows image program, you can only restore the entire image whereas when I used Acronis, you can click on the image and restore selected files without having to restore the entire image.

I know that Windows 8 uses the option of Windows 7 backup program, but was wondering what other programs work good with Windows 8. I had been using Acronis 2010 (which I think is their best version) but it is not compatible with Windows 8. So, what are you using ?

I checked teamviewer. Very expensive, $749.00 for lifetime I also check logmein and its $69.00 a year. Seems more reasonable for what I need which is just being able to access my one work computer from my home. Seems like logmein also has an app for my IPhone.
