I have immunet protect that I installed along side NOD32 and the complemented each other well and it detected W32.Vundo during the Avira installation. False positive?

Today, my NOD32 subscription expired, it was good but I no longer have the money for another year at this moment. I was looking to replace it with a free one until I could get another subscription but there are so many out there I don't know what to go with. Any ideas?

I have one app where a lot sounds are missing or cut off if I have it set to full acceleration, just one. I'm wondering if there is a way to shut it off for one application, instead of doing a system wide change with dxdiag in Windows XP.

I made a partition using GParted on the same drive that XP is on, I made it 20 Gb, from what I gather that is enough space. I only want the OS there since I have other drives for storing files. Even if I format the drive right in the Windows 7 setup, it still refuses to install due to no system...
