That's because you're looking at a popup advertisment of a "List of ASRock motherboards with Windows® Vista? Premium logo" ...don't believe the hype though since Vista really sucks).
Below is the real link to their complete product page & yes the 4CoreDual-VSTA version is listed...
To the person who had a high pitch noise around the processor ...this is due to a bad transistor that is located near it.
I would RMA the board ...if it's still under warranty.
No ...I found the Voltages on a couple other Forums ...also, Cedar Mill is a single-core 65nm processor.
So ...I can't run 1:1 unless I use DDR2 memory ? Is there a website that lists different user configurations/results with this board ?
Per request ...the following are the Voltages on the Asrock 775 VSTA Board:
agp "high" 1.59v
agp "low" 1.54v
--------------------
DDR "high" 2.73v
DDR "norm"2.63v
DDR "low 2.53v
--------------------
DDR2 "high" 2.0v
DDR2 "norm" 1.9v
DDR2 "low" 1.8v
Now back to my previous post...
I've only built/overclocked AMD Socket A in the past...& I just built a system with this board. I have read through all the posts here & do not undertand the FSB/Memory Divider thing.
I installed a 3.0 Ghz Pentinum & AGP Card ...set the FSB to 233 & the (2 sticks Geil 3500 DDR) memory to 200...
Hyperen ...sometimes when going from an ATI type Card to a Nvidia Card can cause driver problems/conflicts like you are having. You need to uninstall your Nvidia card again ...then run a driver cleaner to remove the old ATI Drivers completely ...then re-install your Nvidia Graphics Card.
For Sata users ....you must install your Sata Drivers on a Floppy when asked during your XP install ...even with SP2, if wanting to use it as the primary Boot Drive.
I had trouble too until I did this ! !
