I didn't see that Socket 563 thing. I saw the description and assumed it would work on a Socket A motherboard. Newegg is great though...just explain your problem to them and I am sure they will let you make a trade.

Is your sound card close to any other PCI cards? I have had a few friends that have picked up a bit of static because their sound cards are directly next to another PCI card. I don't know exactly why this would be causing it, but it wouldn't hurt to try. ~Jasonn

I sent back my Aspire X-Superalien case for a cash refund and within a five days or so of sending it from Michigan to California (FedEx), I had the cash. Newegg is great for RMA and just in general. :P
