well, I put the jumper in the clear position for a while and then switched it back. I'm still getting nothing. This is really frustrating.

okay, I'm back, is the cmos jumper the same as the bios jumper? do i just need o take it of completely?

you know what, I haven't used the CMOS clear jumper, I will go check that out. This is about a year old build and has been rock solid from day one. Parts can fail of course, worked completely fine yesterday. I'll check that jumper and report back.
