i'm looking into buying a gforce mx w/ twinview and they seem like they'll be the first company to release it, but i don't know anything about them.
does anyone own any of their cards and have feedback about them?
i have the notebook now and everything seems okay, but i haven't really had a chance to use it yet.
Once again, thanks for the advice AndyHui.
The manuals don't say much, and i don't think my father would like it much if i take a screwdriver to his laptop to find out the truth, so i guess...
Does anyone know at what speed a ls 120 drive can read a normal floppy? I thought i read in a post stating it was 5x, but i can't find anything else that says that.
Pricewatch lists the drives as 2x and the imation site says they can be 27x faster than floppies, but it doesn't says if that...
Yeah, i recently discovered that. Do you think they could fit a slot 1 into a notebook? If that's the story, the notebook probably eats up power and generates a lot of heat.
Anybody out there have a 800 MHz mobil notebook?
i bought the drive (and saw a box in person at Sam's) and it's spindle speed is 5400 rpm.
i don't actually expect buy.com to display a unique image for all the items they carry, but i do expect the product title to be correct and the title says 5400 rpm, which is fine for storing archived files...
Thanks bbqweed.

MrBeetle:

(now both coupons should appear.)

Bad news: There was a previous post for this drive from Sam's club for ~$160 after a $30 rebate. When i went to Sam's i not only found out that the 45.0 GB model was not listed as eligible for the rebate, but also the rebate had expired on May 27th, 2000!
Good news: The rebate has been modified...
