Hi, if you are looking at a barebones unit that supports ivy-bridge take a look at the shuttle SZ77R5 it also comes with a 500W PSU, I think it will be able to support that 680 GTX at a push, but you should really post that issue in the PSU forum...
Asus got my vote, really looking forward to their Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe, ten phase VRM on a mini-itx and looks to die for.

I think you might be right, why would you use the GF104 because if they did you cant justify a £500 price tag. Can anyone estimate how much power a 560 would draw?
According to hexus this is the info they got from the EVGA reps:
"Although we couldn't tease too many details from the reps on hand, we know it'll be based on two GF104 chips, carry 2GB of memory, support three-screen surround gaming out of the box, all the while costing less than a GTX 580"...

Details are very limited, seems it has two GF104 chips and the big thing it will cost less than GTX 580. I think I will put that 6870 on hold :)

Does any one know if an AM3 waterblock will be compatible with the new AM3+ motherboards and I have a pair of Fractal Design 140mm which run at 600rpm and have a air flow of 39 CFM which I think might not be enough to achieve the temps I want.
Fair point zap I never thought off it like that, or maybe I worded my objectives in the wrong way.
I wanted to watercool to make my parts run cooler and quieter I don't mind the heat in the room because its very rarely hot in England lol.
I want my GPU to run 75c on load and the CPU to run 45c...
Hi, I recently decided that I want to watercool my computer due to it making alot of noise and the fact it was heating my room up. The main source of the heat and noise was my 4870x2 so I decided to tackle this first and found a second hand EK 4870 x2 waterblock for £35 which I have already...
That's a very good improvement over the 480 on average about 14%, i wish i could get one but $500 sounds a bit rich for me i guess i will have to stick with my 4870x2 :(
460 x2 is much better than a single 470 and I would think a single 460 would be more than good enough to play the games mentioned above, you may even want to consider a 6850/6870 here is a review off a 6850 in xfire and 460 in sli.
