I bought a panasonic 8000btu from a local no name store for 260 with a 40 dollar rebate. I think COSTCO and BJ's wholesale warehouse have the same models for cheaper with rebate. They also have maytag 6000 btu's for about 150-200. Go check it out. Hope this helps:cool:
