where can i get some cheap liposuction?

Liposuction won't make you look better. Even with the best doctors, it looks really awful. Thats why people use it when it's a matter of their health. In some areas they'll get rid of the fat, while they'll leave others, simply because it's impossible to do smoothly. If you think you'll look...

What's my bottleneck for gaming here ??

Sounds like a well-rounded system to me. No obvious bottlenecks. However, if you really want to upgrade only one component, i'd say a new graphics card could be worth it. But only if you skip to a x800 or GF6800. Upgrading from a TI4600 to a Radeon 9xxx or GF FX would be pretty pointless...

    How's my temp?

Yeah, run a game, or seti@home or anything else that takes 100% cpu, and see what happens after a couple of hours. But no, if it can't handly 46 degrees, then there's something seriously wrong with the cpu. It's not critical until you reach around 80 degrees. (70, if you want to play it...

    Nasty heat problem

Sounds like there's just something wrong with your motherboard's sensors. In any case, *if* it gets too hot, the system will just reboot. Your cpu should be safe. But if it doesn't feel like 80 degrees, then it probably isn't. ;)

Does Athlon 64 have the same thermal protection safety as Pentium CPU's now?!!

When did they implement it? As soon as possible after that article at Toms... ;) Although with the Athlon XP's, it was just a simple "shut down/reboot if it gets too hot", whereas the Pentium 4 had thermal throttlin to just slow down instead of rebooting. The Athlon 64's can handle things...

Why is Prescott so scary? Is the roumors true? Whats your experience?

Why not get an Athlon 64? Same, or better, performance, far less heat/power consumption and 64 bit capabilities to boot... Anyway, here's an interesting article on the heat dissipation of A64's, Prescott and Northwood. http://www.silentpcreview.com/article169-page2.html...

Ouch... Thanks for that warning... Anything else? :P

    MSI Mega

I've been looking at this sexy beast: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/slim_pc/slm/pro_slm_detail.php?UID=547 (or the AMD version) However, I figured I'd ask here if anyone has some actual first-hand experience with these? Any problems with them? Are they worth it? Anything in particular...

    ALright, I have a A64 3200= and temps are idling at 46 C.

Don't bother. My cpu idles at 72 degrees C (occasionally reaches 88 degrees under full load) and it's lasted 5 years so far. ;)

What RAID card should I get?

Are you sure you should get RAID in the first place? For normal use it isn't faster than a single disk. Of course, if you're going to run huge multi-user systems or maybe a big database server, then go ahead. If you just want speed and disk space for your desktop system, I'd recommend not using...

    Wow, RAID-0 gets owned!

Nope, not neccesarily. Someone needs to brush up their knowledge of IO. ;) RAID0 means two things for performance: 1) Twice the bandwidth. Obviously, you can read or write from both drives simultanously, so you only need to do half as much on each drive. 2) Higher latency: Just as obvious...
