it may be your ram. i have the exact specs (Asus P3V4X, P3667 ),on my machine but have pny pc133 128M ram. everything works perfectly well.

thanx a lot! i got it working! i changed the order of the boot devices and booted from cd. it was def. my floppy. for some reason its not reading it. but thats another headache altogether!

I've pieced together a p3 667 with an asus p3x4v and as far as I get is the "press a key to reboot" message every time I start up. Any ideas why this is happening? I have a boot disk in the floppy but it doesnt seem to be reading it. any suggestions??????
