Thanks Jdoe, I tried that too but XP still didn't assign a drive letter to the 3225. Anyhow, I got it to work with Win2000 on my laptop (didn't need to reboot either). The 3225 works like a charm, I love the extra POIs. Many Thanks to Timekeeper :)

Update: My Windows XP is the culprit. I connected my 3225 via USB to my other computer running Windows 2000. The drive showed up and the system assigned a drive letter to it. The volume of the drive is TFAT. So I am good to go now. Stupid Microcrap.
