    if you can get very fresh seafood...it can be prepared simply and eat with butter (salted or with garlic if you like).... like you could steam/boil lobster, crab, shrimp or some saute some shellfish (calms, mussels) very simply with butter, white wine, and shallots or garlic... key is fresh...

    Probably a mix of hotel and hostels...cheap but not roughing it is good... I prefer to relax and chill...but we will be doing major cities as well. I'm especially interested in your opinion on greek islands and Mediterranean coastal towns in italy/france/spain
