I changed Routers too a while ago. The first thing that I did, I logged to the old Router before disconnecting it. Open the stetting Menus, went trough them and took a screen picture of each menu. This way I can make sure that if needed I know what to put in the New Router setting. :cool:

Playing with Antenna rarely improves anything unless it is replacing it with High level directional Antenna that needs to tranmit to a specific spot for longer destance. Getting an inexpensive Wireless Router and using it as an addtional Access Point can realy improve WIFI. :cool:

What turning the Internet means? You need to describe the configuration/setting of your Network/Internet.

If your WIFI chips in your surface are Marvel it probably would not do better. The Marvel chipset on te surface is not doing well. Eventually MS stop to use them and switched to use Intel. :cool:

Well, one thing left. Call your ISP and tell them what is the output of the Modem. :cool:

Disconnect everything (include disable wireless) from the Modem/Router, connect via short CAT6 wire one good computer, and check the speed (https://www.speedtest.net). If the speed is Ok, then the problem is in your Network. If so connect back one computer at the time to find what causing it...
