Gary, If you can comment in this. Are the BIOS's for the boards more mature with all this extra time getting to market?

How good was the power supply? Was it putting out stable voltages? With your switching stick of RAM around it seems that the RAM should be good at least. I don't have much experience with RAID set ups. Maybe one of the more savvy members hav run iinto a similiar situation.

ASRock is a value division of ASUS so probably won't go wrong there, definitely 2 sticks for RAM for a P4.

I am running 2 Maxtors at home now, no problem. At work we have had to replace all 8 Maxtor drives tin the Dell machines we bought a year ago. They have all been replaced with Seagate drives. When I upgrade in the spring I will get a Seagate SATA Drive.
