-Have you tried putting the drive in another machine to see if it would recognize it?
-Have you tried running Maxtor's MaxBlast software? It would wipe out any data on the drive you are trying to setup so only try it as a last resort.
Yea, it may be a faulty video card. Try contacting BFG's tech support to see if they're any help. If anything, they'll tell you to RMA the video card because all of their video cards have a lifetime warranty so you may end up getting a new one.
