I saw the a7a266 at a computer show in socal (buena park to be specific) nothing really amazing just that it runs on the ALi is this board supposed to be highly anticipated as it does run SDR and DDR (if it were the kt266 then maybe)

There is a big difference between pc1600 and pc2100 DDR Ram. The pc1600 is the equivalent of pc100, meaning that it is meant for a 100 fsb, and the pc2100 is meant for 133 fsb. The 1600 is fine if you have no intention of unlocking the tbird or duron you are going to buy to use with a 133fsb...

Well, this is the motherboard section Pillage. Anyways, I don't see the point in buying the KT133A when DDR is right around the corner. I know it doesnt perform much better, but Palomino should take more advantage of the DDR. I guess the KT133A is kewl, but u dont get teh baggin rights. Anyways...

it whines because it uses bushings and they get worn out easy. Unlike the sunons which use ball bearings.

I remember reading an article about how you can mod the k7125 to mount it on the slot a without the heatplate that comes with the Athlon. If anyone can help me or direct me to a site with this I might give them a blow job
